NRA Range Safety Officer

learn how to prepare

An NRA Range Safety Officer (“RSO”) is trained to deal with the safety of an entire range and all the people on it. Your instructor is an NRA Chief Range Safety Officer and will teach you range standard operating procedures, range inspection and rules, and how to help shooters with firearm stoppages and malfunctions. And you will learn how to prepare for and handle an emergency, which may save someone’s life someday.

If you shoot with groups, like Boy Scouts, 4-H, clubs, or just your friends and family, you will be able to provide a level of comfort and safety for your group with this training.

Classes are by appointment only and is conducted at Shoot Indoors – Buckley in Aurora, CO, unless otherwise noted.
