NRA Instructor Classes

The NRA Instructor will certify you to teach others how to shoot firearms. In Colorado, NRA Instructor status qualifies you to certify Coloradans to apply for their Concealed Handgun Permit. Straightforward Shooting’s Instructor classes will qualify you as an instructor in several NRA disciplines: Rifle, Pistol, CCW, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection Inside The Home, Range Safety Officer, Refuse To Be A Victim and Shotgun.

To become an NRA Instructor, you must complete courses of training:

• Basic Instructor Training (“BIT Training”); 
• Basic Student Training specific to the discipline (Rifle, Pistol, etc.)
• and Instructor training specific to discipline–(Rifle, Pistol, etc.)

All instructor classes take place in Aurora, CO.
